Mongo Forever Smiling Foundation
The Mongo Forever Smiling Scholarship Foundation is dedicated to supporting deserving Christian students, enabling them to pursue higher education goals while upholding Christian values and contributing positively to their communities just like Christopher Lomongo embodied throughout his life.
Fundraiser Tournament Information
The Fundraiser is an annual tournament held at Seeger’s Sandbar at White Sands Volleyball Courts. The fundraiser tournament date for 2025 is Saturday, June 28th. Check in time for the tournament and doors open at 1:30pm. Play start time for the tournament is 2:30pm. Registration Fee is $200 per team.
The tournament will have 3 divisions: Advanced, Intermediate, and Beginner. Throughout the tournament, we will have raffle opportunities, live auctions, a DJ, tournament merch for sale, the famous Lomongo “Flying Hawaiian” Lumpia, and much more! All proceeds will go to the Scholarship Foundation.

This is a “pay it forward” fundraiser to commemorate Christopher Lomongo, aka “Mongo”, who died unexpectedly from a hear attack. He was a welcoming soul whose hugs and smiles brought joy to everyone around him. Mongo was a one-of-a-kind, and he had an intuition to show up when help was needed. This fundraiser allows us to honor his legacy by giving back to charitable causes near to Mongo’s heart and helping those who “Live Like Mongo” by providing scholarships.
